A world in which a sovereign state of Palestine and Israel coexist peacefully seems to be a distant perspective, in particular in the light of the attacks of October 7, 2023 of Hamas on Israel, and the Israeli bombardment according to Gaza. A high -level opening of the United Nations Conference on July 28 will nevertheless be the last UN attempt to find a way to end the conflict.
