The scene is barely believable. This Thursday morning, a bus fell into the Seine near the town of Juvisy (Essonne). According to our information, the person behind the wheel, who would be a driver in training, made a handling error and four people were inside.
Also, in its fall, the bus dragged a car, which also ended up in the river. The person inside was also rescued.
Contacted, the mayor of Juvisy Lamia Bensarsa Reda said she was “stunned” by this accident. We are currently unaware of any results. According to our information, the driver as well as the passengers were rescued, with passers-by being the first to help the bus passengers.
Following the accident, which also involves a car, lines 4114, 4116, 4121, 4117 and 4118 are diverted until further notice in both directions, Juvisy station is no longer served.
