A Call for evidence is now open, inviting citizens and stakeholders to share their views on the Commission’s planned actions in three key areas that matter directly to schools and classrooms across Europe:
- Basic skills: helping schools tackle declining performance in literacy, maths, science, digital skills, and citizenship.
- Teachers and school leaders: a dedicated Agenda to improve working conditions, career development, and the overall attractiveness of the teaching profession.
- Digital education infrastructure: modernising Europe’s digital education systems as AI becomes more central to learning, with a focus on human agency, inclusiveness, and digital sovereignty.
