The online sales site Rakuten, formerly PriceMinister, is primarily looking for a buyer in France, but is considering its closure in the event of failure, its management said on Monday, May 4, confirming information from Capital magazine.

“This project is part of a context of decline in activity over the past ten years, despite the ongoing efforts and investments of the Rakuten Group in France,” declares the French subsidiary of the Japanese company, specifying that 180 employees are affected by this project.
